Submitted by jroy on November 25, 2008 - 15:16I just had a need for a function that takes a datetime year to second and returns the number of seconds since January 1, 1970.
That would be easy to do by writing a "C" UDR but I did not want to deal with compiling and installing a shared library so I decided to approach it as an SPL routine.
Not that it is a great thing but I thought I'd share it with whoever needs it. Let me know if you find this useful:

Informix events

The German Informix User group had a tech workshop on November 12th which included talks on topics such as Informix migration, requirements for Informix from developers, the Generous environment, COBOL, mobile devices, and top tips from support.

HP Data Protector is certified with IDS 11.50

We have confirmed with HP that 11.x includes 11.50, apart from Windows 32-bit. HP are currently working on Windows 32-bit certification for IDS 11.50.
